HOW WE WORK
The FSR Electricians have access to the OZEV & Energy Saving Trust Grant scheme. This saves you £600 on your charge point!
We can help you go through the application process so the installation process is simple as possible. We can advise on the most efficient and practical charger for your car and then we can supply and install it.

TYPES OF CHARGERS
As more and more car manufacturers are turning to electric, the range of chargers themselves as increased dramatically over the past 3 years. As a result, it has now become harder to select one than before. Especially as each supply different quantities of charge at different speeds.

Types of supply and chargers

UK three pin plug. This is the slowest of the current chargers providing approx. 5 miles of charge per 30 minutes.
Type 1 plug. This provides approx. 10-12 miles of charge per 30 minutes.
Type 2 plug. This is one of the faster chargers providing approx. 75 miles charge per 30 minutes.
CHAdeMO plug. This is another of the faster chargers (and the most common) providing approx. 85 miles charge per 30 minutes.
Combined Charging System (CCS) plug. By far the most efficient charging system providing 85-200 miles charge per 30 minutes.

The more powerful the charger, the higher your bill. Please consider this when selecting your charger...
